An investigation into the death of a young British man sparks a global hunt for the individual selling hundreds of young people lethal poison.
A gripping investigation by journalist James Beal, Deputy Investigations Editor at The Times, into the death of a young man, Tom Parfett, who died by ingesting a lethal poison which he had bought online. The investigation leads James to partner with bereaved parents across the globe to uncover the identity of an online poison seller, who has since been arrested and accused of sending over 1,000 packages of poison to young people across the globe.
Featuring original articles by James Beal and the accompanying award-winning Times’ podcast, this series features powerful and devasting testimony from the families of victims exposing the dangers, and lack of regulation, of online suicide forums against the backdrop of a global mental health epidemic.
